Residential HVAC Installation Lead | $25–$35/hr + Union BenefitsLocal residential work. No overnight travel. A long-term opportunity with a fourth-generation family-owned company.For more than 75 years, Wright Heating and Cooling has built its business by delivering quality HVAC work to homeowners throughout Portage, Summit, and Medina counties. Your RoleYou'll take ownership of residential HVAC installation projects and help ensure each job is completed safely, efficiently, and to Wright's standards.Responsibilities include:Direct residential HVAC installation jobs from beginning to completion
Work alongside and coach installation helpers
Demonstrate proper installation methods and jobsite practices
Maintain strong standards for workmanship, safety, and customer care
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to installations
Communicate directly with homeowners in a professional manner
Operate HVAC tools, equipment, and testing instruments appropriately
What You Need3+ years of HVAC installation experience
Previous experience as a lead installer or crew lead is preferred
Ability and willingness to train newer team members
Valid driver's license and clean, insurable driving record
Good understanding of jobsite safety
Own basic HVAC hand tools
This Job RequiresThe physical demands of the position include:Spending much of the workday standing and working on your feet
Lifting 70+ lbs. when necessary
Working comfortably in hot, cold, and changing jobsite environments
Safely using both step and extension ladders
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM with some overtime depending on business demand
