Residential HVAC Service & Maintenance Technician

Location: White Plains, NY

Innovative Air is Westchester's trusted residential team for heating, cooling, plumbing, insulation, and IAQ, known for reliability, honesty, and uncompromising quality.

As a Residential HVAC Service & Maintenance Technician, you'll run residential service/maintenance calls, diagnose, repair, educate the homeowner, and keep systems running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities for Residential HVAC Service & Maintenance Technician

Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems (heat, AC, controls)
Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections
Provide clear options and recommendations to homeowners
Document work and updates in ServiceTitan (preferred; training provided)
Maintain clean, safe work practices and a professional customer experience

Qualifications for Residential HVAC Service & Maintenance Technician

3 or more years of residential HVAC service/maintenance experience (or a mix of residential + light commercial with strong residential troubleshooting skills)
Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record (per company policy/insurer requirements).
Employment is contingent on passing a background check consistent with applicable law.
Strong communication and "white glove" mindset in occupied homes
Comfort with tablets/software (preferred)

Pay & benefits

Full-time - W-2 employee
Pay: $35 to $50 per hour (5 or more years + advanced certs/diagnostic strength). Final offer based on experience and certifications.
Bonus/commission/spiff opportunities (role-dependent)
