Job Description

At CABS Heating & Air Conditioning, our goal is to be the most trusted and respected residential HVAC company in the West Sacramento, CA area. Now, we're hiring a full-time Residential HVAC Service Tech to join us in our mission and help take excellent care of our customers' heating and cooling systems.

GREAT PAY

Depending on experience, our Residential HVAC Service Techs make $60,000 - $100,000/year.

YOUR NEW ROLE

You'll work flexible schedules within our operating hours of 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Some evenings, weekends, and flexibility may be required to meet business needs.

Here's what to expect as our Residential HVAC Service Tech:

  • Visiting customers' homes, answering questions, and providing positive customer service
  • Accurately inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment like furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioning systems
  • Explaining service options to customers and gaining approval for the work
  • Performing seasonal tune-ups, completing routine maintenance, and maintaining detailed service records
  • Complying with industry regulations and quality standards to complete excellent work and get equipment in peak operating condition

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing heating and cooling systems
  • EPA certification
  • Strong knowledge of heating and cooling equipment, controls, and diagnostics
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment
  • Positive attitude with professional communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to serve the greater Sacramento area

Preferred Criteria:

  • 5 years of experience
  • NATE certification
  • Experience using ServiceTitan and Google Suite
