Residential HVAC Service Technician

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour based on experience, technical ability, and performance + performance-based spiffs

About the RoleAs a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you will diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems while delivering a high level of workmanship and customer experience. You will work directly with homeowners to identify concerns, explain recommendations, and complete repairs professionally and efficiently. Success in this role comes from taking ownership of your work, communicating clearly, and partnering with a supportive team that values accountability and consistency.
What You'll DoDiagnose, troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems while maintaining quality and efficiency standards. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with homeowners. Complete accurate service documentation and follow established company procedures and best practices. Maintain a professional appearance and preparedness each day. Work closely with dispatch and leadership to maintain a productive, organized, and well-supported schedule while delivering excellent customer service.
What We're Looking ForThis role is ideal for technicians who value structure, consistency, and long-term growth within a stable, family-owned company. Previous residential HVAC service experience is preferred. Candidates should have strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, professionalism in customer interactions, and the ability to work independently while following established processes. EPA Certification is preferred if applicable, along with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Compensation & GrowthCeltic Air offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience, technical ability, and performance, plus performance-based spiffs that reward strong results.
