We're looking for an experienced field tech to join us in Hellertown, PA, and do an amazing job for our customers. This role pays $25.00 - $33.00/hour (based on experience) and offers a consistent 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday schedule. What You Bring to the Table:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC service
- Excellent diagnostic skills
- Ability to independently diagnose and repair gas furnaces, air conditioning units, boilers, and heat pumps
- Ability to provide fair and ethical recommendations for repair vs. replacement options
- Customer service mindset with the ability to confidently and clearly explain system observations, recommendations, and service options to homeowners
Core Residential HVAC Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Accurately troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems (air conditioning units, gas furnaces, indoor air quality equipment, etc.)
- Performing preventative maintenance, inspecting systems, and notifying customers about repair needs or performance enhancement recommendations
- Clearly explaining findings, repair options, and maintenance plans to homeowners and encouraging them to approve services without pressuring them
- Documenting your work in our service software (photos, notes, invoices, and additional recommendations) and cleanly closing out jobs
- Maintaining an organized service vehicle and a clean, professional appearance
