We’re Hiring: Residential HVAC Service Technicians (Entry–Level to Lead Tech) – Bring the Heat

Location: Collegeville, PA (Field-Based Role) | Pay Range: $18–$46/hour | Full-Time

Position Summary:

We’re hiring Residential HVAC Service Technicians across all levels — from green-as-the-grass rookies to seasoned field generals who know how to run a call with precision and lead a team by example.

Whether you’re here to learn the trade or you’ve been in it for a decade, this is where you’ll prove what you’re made of. You’ll work in crawlspaces, attics, and tight basements. You’ll troubleshoot, sweat, climb, and carry. And if you’ve got the right mindset, you’ll move up fast.

Where You Fit In:

Entry-Level ($18–$22/hr):You’ve got no experience, but you’re hungry to learn and not afraid to sweat. You’ll ride with senior techs, get your hands dirty, and earn your stripes the right way.

Level 1 ($23–$27/hr): You’ve been in the field 1–2 years. You know your way around a service call and you’re ready to be trusted with real responsibility — not just cleanups and van inventory.

Level 2 ($28–$33/hr):You’ve got 2–4 years in the game. You can troubleshoot, communicate clearly with homeowners, and handle calls from start to finish. We’ll expect results — not excuses.

Level 3 ($34–$39/hr):You’ve been doing this for 4–6 years and it shows. You run clean calls, think on your feet, and hold yourself to a higher standard. You lead in the field, whether there’s a title on your shirt or not.

Level 4 ($40–$46/hr):You’ve got 7+ years of field experience and the leadership chops to prove it. You’re the one people call when things go sideways. You lead, teach, and carry the weight like it’s second nature.

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems (furnaces, heat pumps, ACs, ductless, etc.)

• Run service calls with precision, professionalism, and urgency

• Communicate clearly and respectfully with homeowners

• Prep, stock, and maintain your truck like it’s your shop on wheels

• Stay ready — attics, crawlspaces, bad weather, long days — we go where the work is

• Represent Alpha 1 like it’s your name on the side of the van

What You’ll Bring:

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• A high school diploma or equivalent

• Physical toughness and mental sharpness — you’ll need both

• Respect for your tools, your team, and the customer

• The drive to get better, not just get through the day

• Relevant experience depending on level — but attitude is non-negotiable
