Position Summary: We’re hiring a Level 2 Residential HVAC Service Technician — a proven hand in the field who can troubleshoot, repair, and communicate without being babysat. You’ll be trusted to diagnose, explain, and fix residential systems the right way, the first time. No chasing callbacks. No dragging feet. You’ll be expected to move, think, and represent Alpha 1 with pride — every call, every time. What You’ll Do: Run independent service calls across a full range of HVAC systems Diagnose heating and cooling issues with clarity — not guesswork Communicate findings and options clearly to homeowners Perform repairs cleanly, professionally, and to code Maintain your truck, your gear, and your standards What You’ll Bring: 2–4 years of direct residential HVAC service experience Strong troubleshooting skills across furnaces, heat pumps, AC units, and mini splits Clean driver’s license and professional appearance Confidence under pressure — but still coachable No tolerance for excuses — just results Pay & Benefits: $28–$33/hour based on field performance and customer communication skills Health Insurance + Retirement Plan Paid Holidays + PTO Direct advancement path to Level 3 A team that runs lean, moves fast, and expects high standards Physical Requirements & Work Environment: You’ll be crawling under houses, climbing into hot attics, and diagnosing systems in all kinds of weather.
