Job Overview:
As a Residential Program Manager at Glenkirk, you will take a leadership role in overseeing the operations and management of our residential programs. Your responsibilities will include program development, staff supervision, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to individuals in our care. This position requires a strong combination of organizational, managerial, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development and Implementation:
- Develop and implement residential programs that align with the organization's mission and goals.
- Ensure programs meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Staff Supervision and Development:
- Supervise, train, and mentor residential staff, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and facilitate professional development opportunities.
- Client Support and Advocacy:
- Collaborate with case managers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for residents.
- Advocate for the needs and rights of residents, promoting a person-centered approach.
- Budget Management:
- Oversee budgetary aspects of residential programs, including expenses, resource allocation, and financial reporting.
- Identify cost-saving measures without compromising the quality of services.
- Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Crisis Management:
- Develop and implement crisis intervention and response protocols.
- Provide guidance to staff in managing challenging situations and emergencies.
- Community Engagement:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with the local community, service providers, and relevant agencies.
- Promote community integration initiatives for program participants.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, etc.) required.
- Certification as a QIDP or eligibility for QIDP certification.
- Previous experience in program management, preferably in a residential or similar setting.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards for residential programs.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
