Job Description
Melanie R Mayer LLC is hiring a Closer / Post-Closer to support and strengthen our real estate closing operations. Please note, this role is in-person, M-F.
This role is hands-on and fast-paced. You'll be directly involved in closing transactions and handling post-closing responsibilities, while also supporting the team where needed.

What You'll Do
- Prepare and review settlement statements
- Support and execute real estate closings
- Handle post-closing responsibilities, including:
- File balancing with lenders
- Funding approvals
- Wires and disbursements
- Shipping closing packages
- Resolving post-closing issues
- Communicate with clients, lenders, and internal team
- Keep files moving efficiently and accurately
- Step in and support where needed we operate as a team

What We're Looking For
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in real estate closings, title, or similar
- Solid understanding of closing workflows (pre, close, post)
- Ability to stay calm and empathetic with stressed clients
- Ability to work quickly and accurately
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple files at once
- Self-starter you don't need constant direction
Preferred:
- Experience with investor deals, double closings, or creative financing
- Familiarity with Qualia or similar systems
- Spanish-speaking ability
- Interest in long-term growth within a real estate law firm
