What You’ll Do

• Deliver routine and advanced respiratory therapies according to established policies and procedures
• Monitor, assess, and document patient responses to treatments
• Conduct diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and EKGs
• Educate patients and healthcare staff on procedures and treatment plans
• Assist with changing artificial airways and supporting oxygen/ventilation therapies
• Provide care across age groups, from neonatal to geriatric patients
• Maintain current certifications and participate in ongoing professional development

What You Need

• Current license as a Respiratory Therapist in Louisiana
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Preferably NRP certification for NICU work (not required)
• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Windows and data entry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform both routine and complex therapeutic procedures
