Job Summary
Facility is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care across critical and non-critical settings. This role supports patients across the lifespan and emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient safety, and collaborative care.

Shift: 12-Hour Nights (1700 0530)
Weekend Rotation: Every 4th Weekend
Holidays: Rotation Basis
On Call: None
Floating: None
Core Responsibilities
Deliver and coordinate respiratory care per physician orders and protocols
Perform patient assessments using diagnostics, labs, ABGs, and imaging
Operate and manage ventilators in ICU and non-ICU settings
Administer respiratory medications and therapies
Assist physicians with bedside procedures
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease management
Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment
Provide safe patient handoffs and documentation
Promote patient safety and participate in quality improvement
Precept and support new staff and students
Minimum Requirements
Active Wisconsin RCP License
RRT Credential (CRT accepted if obtained prior to Jan 1, 2023)
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
PALS (AHA)
NRP (AAP)
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program (Associate degree minimum)
Experience
No minimum experience required
Newer therapists with strong clinical foundations encouraged to apply
