Job Description

Summary:

Location: Children’s Hospital Colorado – Anschutz Medical Campus
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Assignment Dates: 04/07/26-07/11/26
Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Responsibilities:

Float Requirement: Anschutz & Network of Care Locations (South or North)
Weekend Requirement: 13 weekend shifts out of 26 weekends (includes both Saturday & Sunday)
On-Call Requirement: None
Holiday Requirement: Must work observed holidays if they fall within the contract period (Memorial Day)

Requirements:

Education: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary
Licensure/Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Travel Experience: Must have prior travel assignment experience

Required Skills:

Minimum 3 years Pediatric ICU
Minimum 3 years Neonatal ICU (Level 3 or 4)
Minimum 1 year Pediatric ED
Minimum 1 year Pediatric Level 1 Trauma
Minimum 5 years of RRT experience
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP

Preferred Skills:

Minimum 4 years Pediatric ICU
Minimum 4 years Neonatal ICU

Benefits:

RTO (Requested Time Off): No more than 10 days off during the contract; No RTO approved within the first 2 weeks of assignment
Flu Vaccination Policy: Medical and religious exemptions allowed
