Job Description
Respiratory Therapist
The Licensed Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating respiratory care services in adherence to hospital standards and department policies to monitor and assess patient conditions.
Location:
- Fort Gibson, OK (Less than 1 hour from Tulsa, OK)!
Type:
- Permanent and Full-Time, Direct Hire
Shift:
- Day Shift, 3x12s
Key Skills and Expertise
- Proficient in medication administration through nebulizer or metered dose inhaler
- Skilled in humidity and aerosol therapy, medical gas administration, and incentive spirometry
- Knowledgeable in Respiratory Mechanics, PEP therapy, pulse oximetry, and Chest Physiotherapy
- Experienced in CPR, Mechanical Ventilation, Intubation, Extubating, Suctioning, and Bronchoscopy Assist
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on analyzing clinical and numerical data
- Basic proficiency in PC skills for data entry and documentation
Education and Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Care program
- Hold a valid Oklahoma Provisional/Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RCP) or temporary authorization to practice
- Certification as a Certified/Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) through NBRC
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 2 months of employment
Salary:
- $27-$40+/Hourly
