Earn $75,000 annually plus a 10% bonus opportunity leading an established upscale casual restaurant featuring a scratch kitchen, craft cocktail program, and strong local following in Glens Falls.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity overseeing a team of more than 20 employees while directing daily operations, guest experience, financial performance, staffing, and service execution.

You'll work directly with ownership in a stable, growing operation where you'll have meaningful influence over team development, operational consistency, and overall business performance.

About the Role

As General Manager, you'll serve as the operational leader of the restaurant, responsible for maintaining service standards, developing managers and team members, driving financial performance, and ensuring consistent execution across all departments.

This is a highly visible leadership role that combines hospitality, operations, financial management, and team development. Success in this position requires strong floor presence, accountability, and the ability to lead confidently during busy service periods.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all daily restaurant operations
  • Manage P&L performance and financial results
  • Oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory controls
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships
  • Create and manage staff schedules
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Train, coach, and develop managers and team members
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ensure consistent guest experience execution
  • Lead and manage a team of 20+ employees
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts
  • Monitor labor and operating costs
  • Maintain accountability across all departments

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Restaurant General Manager experience
  • Strong P&L management experience
  • Experience leading upscale casual restaurant operations
  • Inventory, purchasing, and vendor management experience
  • Scheduling and payroll experience
  • Proven team development and coaching abilities
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Food safety knowledge
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • English language proficiency required
