About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the restaurant's overall success.
The General Manager oversees daily operations, financial performance, staffing, scheduling, inventory controls, guest experience, and team development while maintaining high standards of hospitality and execution.
You'll spend time leading service from the floor, coaching team members, reviewing financial performance, maintaining accountability, and ensuring operational consistency throughout the restaurant.

The restaurant serves lunch and dinner in a guest-focused environment built around hospitality, consistency, and execution. The dining room seats approximately 75 guests and experiences strong business throughout the year, with peak periods exceeding 100 covers.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations
- Manage P&L performance and profitability
- Lead labor management and scheduling
- Oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory controls
- Manage vendor and purveyor relationships
- Recruit, train, and develop team members
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Oversee payroll processes
- Support service execution during peak periods
- Ensure guest satisfaction and service recovery
- Drive accountability and operational consistency
- Coach and mentor management and hourly team members
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience
- Strong P&L management experience
- Experience with ordering, receiving, and inventory controls
- Vendor and purveyor management experience
- Scheduling and payroll experience
- Team training and development experience
- Food safety knowledge
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Wine and beverage knowledge preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for hospitality and guest service excellence
