The Host/ess will:

• Greet restaurant customers in a quick, efficient and friendly manner
• Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods
• Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment
• Seat guests
• Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed
• Answer phones and schedule reservations in person as well as on the phone in a friendly manner

Requirements

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must also be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform these essential functions of the job.

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
• Requires professional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must possess basic computational ability
• Knowledge of table service standards
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
• Ability to describe all menu items and methods of preparation
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be legally allowed to work in the United States
• Be available to work a flexible work schedule, to include weekends and holidays

Salary Description

$17.00 per hour
