Job Description

The Bier Haus in downtown CDA is looking to add someone with a great personality to our service staff. Serving experience required. Must have open availability. Bring your smile and come join us!

Responsibilities- Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and efficient manner- Taking customer orders accurately and promptly- Delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely fashion- Providing excellent customer service throughout the dining experience- Handling cash transactions and operating the POS system- Ensuring food safety standards are met in food handling and serving- Upselling menu items and promoting specials to increase sales- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the dining area- Assisting with bussing tables and resetting them for the next customers- Communicating effectively with the kitchen and other staff members to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications- Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry- Strong customer service skills- Knowledge of POS systems- Ability to handle food safely and follow food safety protocols- Experience with upselling and sales techniques- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively- Understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations- Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain a clean environment- Hospitality and guest service oriented attitude
