Responsibilities:
- Guest Engagement:
- Welcome and seat guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Assist guests by providing detailed information about the menu and answering any questions.
- Take and accurately place orders in the system, ensuring clarity for kitchen staff.
- Service Delivery:
- Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and with attention to detail.
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to coordinate timely and accurate service.
- Support colleagues during busy shifts to enhance workflow and service quality.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance:
- Keep the dining area clean and organized, including clearing and resetting tables.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Sales and Upselling:
- Encourage the sale of specials, beverages, and desserts to enhance guest experience.
- Inform guests about promotions and events that may interest them.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or related hospitality environment is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and an outgoing personality.
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage multiple tables efficiently.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction with a proactive approach to service.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain on your feet for long periods and perform physical tasks associated with food service.
- Capacity to lift and carry trays weighing up to 25 pounds.
