Position OverviewThe ideal candidate will have experience in leveraged finance, restructuring, or a combination of both, and will play a key role advising private equity sponsors, lenders, and corporate clients on a broad range of financing and distressed transactions.

Job Details
Key ResponsibilitiesDraft and negotiate credit agreements, commitment letters, and ancillary financing documentsAdvise clients on capital structure, liability management, and restructuring strategiesSupport execution of leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and refinancingsAssist on Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructuringsCoordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders including financial advisors and investment professionalsManage transaction timelines and contribute to client-facing strategy discussions
Who You Are:J.D. from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials3–6 years of experience at a leading law firm in leveraged finance, restructuring, or bankingExperience representing private equity sponsors, lenders, or corporate borrowersStrong drafting, analytical, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple complex transactions in a fast-paced environmentAdmission to the New York Bar (or eligibility required)
