Job Description

Immediate need for a talented Retail & Guest Services Associate Retail – Part-Time. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Dallas, TX (Onsite). (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment.). Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist Museum visitors with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Process POS transactions, including cash and credit/debit card payments.
  • Fulfill telephone and e-commerce orders.
  • Receive, organize, process, and stock merchandise.
  • Restock products and maintain attractive, organized retail displays.
  • Complete daily sales reports.
  • Answer visitor questions and communicate daily Museum activities and events.
  • Assist visitors with interactive exhibits, including flight simulators.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the visitor experience.
  • Assist with Museum operations and special events as needed.
  • Help resolve routine customer or visitor concerns professionally.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, guest services, museums, attractions, tourism, or similar environments is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with the public.
  • Ability to actively listen and maintain positive body language.
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and solve routine customer issues.
  • Experience with POS systems, cash handling, or retail transactions is a plus.
  • Dependable and able to work scheduled shifts consistently.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and climb stairs.
  • Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
