Job description
Mandatory Hours:
Mon- Fri 8:15AM to 1:45PM 
Mon- Fri 1:45PM to 7:15PM 
&
Option 1: Saturday: 10:00AM to 4:00PM
Option 2: Sunday: 10:00AM to 4:00PM
Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly
Responsibilities:
  • Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
  • Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership
  • Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
  • Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
  • Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Stays current with web based training and best practices
  • Empathizes and manages demanding, impatient, and/or frustrated customers to turn a stressful event into a positive experience
  • May open and/or close the store and perform end-of-day accounting, etc.
  • Packages shipments for safe arrival, including assembling stock boxes, building custom boxes, and properly cushioning contents
  • Takes ownership of customers’ packing, shipping, and/or print problems and offers viable solutions
    • Skills:
  • Good computer skills, emails and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and math
  • Prompt, reliable, and responsible
  • Able to lift 40 pounds
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Should become a notary (Expenses will be taken care)
  • Prior UPS store associate experience is not needed
    • Additional Good To have
    - Prior UPS store associate experience
    - POS Knowledge: Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and ability to process transactions accurately
