You'll work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction.What You'll Do As a pharmacy technician, you will be responsible for
- Reading and interpreting physicians' medication orders with precision
- Following compound formulas accurately to create non-sterile medications in accordance with USP 800 guidelines
- Preparing and packaging medications, including those requiring special handling and safety measures
- Assisting in filling, processing, and dispensing prescriptions efficiently
- Supporting inventory management through diligent stock control practices
- Providing excellent customer service by promptly and courteously answering phone inquiries and assisting customers
- Ohio Pharmacy Technician License (Registered or Certified, required)
- 1 to 3 years of pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and effective communication abilities
- Ability to follow safety and compounding guidelines accurately
