Job Description
Immediate need for a talented Retail Staff Pharmacist. This is a 13+ Weeks Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Hebron, NE (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.Job ID:26-21258 Pay Range: Regular Pay: $95.00 – $100.00/hr Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized pharmaceutical services to improve drug usage and therapeutic outcomes
- Prepare and dispense all medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state/federal requirements
- Advise physicians on drug therapy, toxicity, side effects, and appropriate dosing
- Instruct patients on proper use of prescribed drugs
- Maintain relationships with medical and nursing staff
- Conduct medication use reviews and assess patient compliance
- Ensure medicinal products are stored appropriately and securely
- Process all cash and credit transactions
- Provide monthly consulting to contracted LTC facilities
- Mentor pharmacy, medical, and nursing students

- Shift: Days (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM) – Saturday rotation (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM) – NO Holidays!
- Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
- Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy
- Current Nebraska state license to practice pharmacy required
- PharmD preferred
- 3 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist required
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Must maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
- Saturday rotation required (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
- No holiday coverage required
- Locals are accepted – no radius restriction
- Please Note: Housing is limited in the area – please research motel/hotel options. On-call rooms are limited and available upon request only
