Retail Team Member - NYC

Original X Productions are the operators of worldwide location-based entertainment experiences including The FRIENDS™ Experience, and Hershey Super Sweet Adventure.  We are looking for staff who are passionate, exhibit the core values of excellence, have a commitment to safety, and value fun in everything they do.Job Summary:OGX is seeking Retail Team Members to assist with retail and photo operations at The FRIENDS™ Experience – NYC, while also preserving the cleanliness of the retail space. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has knowledge of guest support and interactions.This part time position pays $19.00 per hour.Responsibilities:

• Work with the Retail Lead to ensure that the area is clean 
• Maintain cleanliness of the retail area including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and removing trash
• Have a “go beyond” mindset when helping guests.
• Create a fun and welcoming environment for guests
• Report needed repairs and maintenance 
• Cash out guests
• Answer questions about retail items
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary standing position more than 75% of the time
• Must be able to move about inside the exhibit space
• Must be able to commit to a minimum of three shifts, one of which must be on a weekend day 
• Constantly positions self to clean and maintain exhibit equipment 
• Frequently lifts and moves items / equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Able to work a variable schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Your experience:

• High school diploma (or its equivalent) preferred 
• Knowledge of cash handling
• Knowledge of guest services
• Previous retail experience
