About Position:
- Work Location: Remote - 2525 Meridian Pkwy Suite 400, Building 5, Durham, NC 27713
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Job Summary - The PRN RCM Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining patient, insurance, charge, payment, claim-related, and financial assistance information within the organization's EHR and practice management systems. The position supports Revenue Cycle operations and patient financial assistance workflows through accurate data entry and maintenance of records within the Epic Financial Assistance Module.
Minimum Qualifications -
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred Experience:
- One year of healthcare data entry, registration, billing, or revenue cycle experience.
- Experience with Epic and FQHC workflows.
Certifications/ Qualifications:
- Experience using Epic Financial Assistance/Charity Care Module.
- Knowledge of Sliding Fee Discount Program requirements.
- Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance workflows.
Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment
Pay Range: $17.66 - $23.74 (commensurate with years of experience)
