Job Description

Grow your career in RF systems and software development. Teledyne Microwave Solutions has over 50 years of experience delivering advanced microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for aerospace, defense, and communications. Our technologies power mission-critical applications in aviation, radar, Satcom, space, and electronic warfare. If you’re passionate about RF principles and eager to work in a multidisciplinary environment, this role is for you.

What you’ll do

  • Support system-level integration and testing of RF and microwave components, including SSPAs and multi-function modules
  • Assist in developing and automating test systems using Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze system performance and troubleshoot RF chain issues
  • Contribute to control interface development and embedded software for RF subsystems
  • Perform RF measurements and data analysis using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power meters
  • Document test procedures, results, and system configurations
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support product development and validation

What you need

  • Basic understanding of RF and microwave principles (required)
  • Familiarity with RF components such as amplifiers, filters, mixers, and switches (required)
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages like Python or MATLAB (required)
  • Exposure to RF simulation tools (advantage)
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment and test automation (advantage)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 1–3 years of experience (required)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (required)
