Job Description
Henke Industrial is seeking experienced riggers, machinery movers, and millwright support personnel for part-time, project-based work throughout the U.S. We move heavy industrial equipment, support plant shutdowns, and handle installation projects on tight schedules.This is a great fit for someone who:
- Is retired or semi-retired from the trade and wants to stay sharp
- Wants supplemental income without a full-time commitment
- Enjoys hands-on industrial work and travel
- Has a background in rigging, millwright work, or heavy industrial moves
Typical Work
- Rigging and relocating industrial machinery
- Loading and unloading heavy equipment
- Setting machinery on foundations and leveling/aligning
- Working alongside experienced rigging and millwright crews
- Occasional overnight and multi-day travel
Requirements
- Industrial rigging, millwright, or machinery moving experience
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in active industrial environments
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand and power tools
- Ability to travel periodically on an as-needed basis
- Forklift experience, rigging certifications, or millwright background a plus
