Job Description
Job Title: Risk Analyst, PrincipalJob ID: 26-00567Location: Oakland, CA Duration: 10 Months on W2 contractLocal candidates only We are seeking a professional with strong technical analysis, utility operations/asset management, and program/project management experience to support Electric Risk Management initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with asset strategy, engineering, compliance, and regulatory teams
- Evaluate existing and emerging operational risks
- Support development of risk indicators (KRIs) and risk reporting
- Perform quantitative analysis and data collection for risk-based decisions
- Assist with regulatory reporting, presentations, and investment planning support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in risk management, utility operations, asset management, or related field
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Experience working across cross-functional teams and supporting decision-making
Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is between $100.00 - $110.00 per hour.
