| Pay Information: | Non-Exempt - $59,000 - $73,800 per year |
| Location: | Remote first work environment with occasional travel and in office meetings. |

- Advisor/liaison for risk management calls from TDIC sponsoring association members in accordance with the codes of ethics, dental practice acts (by state), regulatory issues and loss prevention protocol. Averaging more than 300 calls per month.
- Researches risk management issues involving analysis of claims data, industry trends, regulatory, statutory and legal developments, researches and follows-up with dentists, appropriate departments and other resources.
- Collaborates with team to identify article topics for addressing risk management issues for dental publications, technical bulletins and articles for component publications based on loss trends as determined through member contact and claims analysis.
- As part of a team, researches and develops self-study courses and seminars, presentations, products and services specific to identified coverage needs (EPLI, Property, PL, Workers Compensation) and risk trends.
- Presents live, in-person risk management seminars to members of sponsoring dental associations, dental students, and others to educate them in loss prevention.
- Participates in Risk Assist Program to provide targeted risk management assistance, advice and counsel. Collaborates with team members to identify appropriate program candidates and develop a personalized plan to address identified issues.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ risk management, dental office, or other similar business experience.
- Knowledge of insurance, dentistry, and/or healthcare risk management
- Ability to effectively partner with clients and customers to answer questions and problem solve a variety of scenarios.
- Demonstrated public speaking skills, including the ability to develop and deliver live presentations that convey key ideas and concepts.
- Demonstrated technical writing skills.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficient computer skills, including, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field recommended or equivalent experience.
- Risk management experience.
- Front and/or back dental office experience.
- RDA or RDH license.
- Public speaking experience.
- Constantly on the phones providing advice to our members
- Frequently maintains a stationary position
- Constantly reviewing and analyzing data on a computer screen.
- Occasional auto/air travel required.
- Occasional overnight travel as needed.
- Constantly standing and walking when attending organizational events.
