Job Title: Risk Management - RN Job Location: Los Angeles, CA 90027 Job Duration: 6 months (Possibility of Extension) Shift: 8:00 AM to 04:30 PM Pay rate: $55 - $60/ hr. (W2) Travel: $2300/wk. Note: Local and Travel applicant both are encouraged to apply! Requirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license & BLS. 2 years of experience in Risk Management and/or Patient Safety RN in an acute care setting. At least 1 year of experience must be in a California hospital. CPPS or CPHRM certification. Job Summary: The ideal candidate will hold a CPPS (Certified Professional in Patient Safety) or CPHRM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management) certification and demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in managing hospital risk and patient safety programs. Responsibilities: Identify, assess, and mitigate clinical and operational risks within the hospital. Conduct root cause analyses, incident investigations, and safety event reviews. Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to develop and implement safety initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Participate in quality improvement projects and risk prevention strategies. Provide education and training on patient safety and risk management principles.
