• Provide comprehensive nursing care within labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery units during 12-hour evening shifts.
• Circulate and scrub cesarean sections with confidence and professionalism.
• Perform thorough assessments and deliver patient-centered care with minimal supervision in an acute care setting.
• Float seamlessly between units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification (ability to recertify as needed).
• Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care hospital of similar size or trauma level.
• Experience circulating c-sections is required; scrub experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Medical Records is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• No history of license suspensions, investigations, or being named in professional liability claims.
• Verified legal right to work in the U.S. and ability to pass pre-employment health screening, drug testing, and criminal background checks.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Additional obstetric specialties or neonatal nursing experience.
• Prior experience working in trauma centers or larger hospital settings.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Nursing license in good standing with at least 1.5 years of recent acute care obstetric experience.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work evenings on 12-hour shifts.
• Travel consideration only for candidates with hospital experience comparable to or greater than the facility described.
