Unit NotesRadius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

- RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated * *Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contractDriver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.Department: Inpatient RehabCertifications: BLS required for all.

Ratios: Days: 1:5 / Nights: 1:6
Required certifications: BLS
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and geriatrics, Stroke, SCI, Amputee, BI, critical illness, neurological disease-MS, Parkinsons, etc.
Are RNs required to titrate drips?: No
Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Antibiotics, anticoagulation, antiplatelets
Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift?: Charge Nurse
Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: Yes- 1:10-15
Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 0630-1900, 1830-0700 / cyclic self-scheduling
Weekend Requirement: At minimum every 3rd weekend
Holiday Requirement: At minimum 2 holidays
Is there Call or a Standby requirement?: No
Floating Requirements: Will float to MedSurg
How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: Classroom orientation and 2- 12 hour shifts on the unit
