Hiring Process: Candidate Interview- Interview with MedSol Clinical Team- No Unit Manager involvement
Radius: 60 MILES, DL must be submitted
Week of orientation: Please ensure clinicians are in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are remote

Unit L&D/PP/MB- SCG

L&D Beds 12 LDRP rooms

OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections? 1

Triage beds 1

Postpartum beds 12 LDRP tooms

Births per day? Month? Year? 1.5/day 50-60/month

Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios? YesRequired Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) ACLS, NRP , BLSCommon diagnoses/Types of patientsExperience or 'Must have' skills LDRP experience, couplet care, circulate in ORAre RNs required to titrate drips? Yes, pitocinCommon titratable &/or set rate drips see aboveCharge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Yes, charge nurse typically has an assignmentAre there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? 1 Surgical techOB/Neonatologist in house 24/7? Not in houseAnesthesia in house 24/7? Not in houseRT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) NoAre there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors? No to adult telemetry.
