Job Description
This permanent ICU Registered Nurse opportunity is located in Farmington, NM, at a 198-bed Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. The hospital operates state-of-the-art surgical suites and offers a broad range of services including a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, and day surgery center, with PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory accreditations recognized nationally.The role. The ICU RN cares for adult critically ill patients in a unit operating at 1:1 and 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios, reflecting the acuity and intensity of care delivered. The position involves comprehensive assessment, planning, and continuous monitoring of hemodynamically complex patients using Cerner as the electronic health record platform. Nurses in this unit collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to manage rapidly changing patient conditions and coordinate care transitions appropriate to an intensive care setting.What we're looking for.
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in an intensive care setting
- Resume must reflect Nurse Practicum and list all experience in MM/YYYY format
- Active RN licensure in New Mexico or a Compact state; candidates without current New Mexico or Compact licensure are considered but must obtain licensure prior to start date
- BLS certification required; all additional required certifications may be obtained after hire
