FLU VACCINE IS REQUIRED at UMMC - only medical exemption is allowed and requires documented evidence from a health care provider of a past severe reaction to the vaccine

FINGERPRINT REQUIREMENT - Remote process must allow 10 days, In Person can be done at Jackson or Grenada campus the week prior to start

Must be proficient in EPIC charting

6:45 to 3:15 Monday-Friday with 2 weekdays and 1 weekend of call

They will need to have BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.

How big is your facility (# of beds)?: 67 beds

How many rooms does your OR have? :4 ORs and 1 procedure room

How many cases per day/per room? :15-22 cases per day

What are the areas of surgery experience that a traveler will need for your unit (Typical - general, ortho, neuro, OB-GYN, ENT, Cardiac)? :General, ortho fractures and scopes, plastics, GI, urology, pediatric dental, surgical oncology

If ortho experience required, do you need totals (hip and knee) experience?: no

Does the traveler need to scrub and circulate (RN only)? : No

Is there call? How much and how often? :Yes 2 days per week and 1 weekend per month

Will the traveler be floating? To which units? First or in rotation with perm staff?: no

What certifications does this position require? : BLS, ACLS, PALS (if doing pediatric cases)

What Med System do you use?: Omnicel

What type of charting do you utilize? : Epic
