Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Travel RN Unit Manager for a leadership assignment in a long-term care and skilled nursing environment. The ideal candidate will oversee daily clinical operations, support nursing staff, ensure quality patient care, and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff on the assigned unit.
- Coordinate and oversee daily resident care activities.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and nursing standards.
- Conduct clinical assessments and monitor resident outcomes.
- Assist with care planning, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and resident records.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Promote quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
- Respond appropriately to clinical concerns and staffing needs.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
- Previous Unit Manager or Nurse Leadership experience preferred.
- Current BLS Certification required.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing settings preferred.
- Ability to effectively manage staff and clinical operations.
