Position Highlights

Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the Infusion department.
• Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period.
• Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care.
• Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients.

Requirements:

• Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems
• IA RN license
• BLS and ACLS are required.
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience or equivalent required
• Experience with infusion-related treatments, therapies, and procedures preferred

Schedule:

• 60 hours per pay period
• Mon-Fri; 8a-4:30p
• On-call as needed
• Must be able to work into evening if needed
• Potential holidays and weekends as needed
• The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
