Job Description

Position: RN / LPN -PRN

Clark Fork Valley Hospital is seeking a nurse to provide routine care and support to residents in their Long Term Care unit in Sanders County. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Medication & Treatment Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, following approved nursing techniques within scope of practice, and notify providers as needed.
Documentation: Accurately document patient care in health records.
Patient Education: Develop and participate in the implementation of individualized education plans for residents and their families.
Care Plan Management: Create and manage care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
Competency & Standards: Demonstrate nursing competencies and adhere to relevant infection control standards.
Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
Supervision: Oversee Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) as applicable.
Team Communication: Communicate clinical information professionally to team members.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure: Current RN or LPN license in good standing with the Montana State Board of Nursing.
Experience: Minimum of one year of long-term care experience preferred, or equivalent training and experience.
Skills: Strong cognitive skills related to nursing care.
