Job Description
Job Title: RN Operating Room (OR) Location: Newark, DE
Assignment: Travel | 13 Weeks | 40 hrs/week
Shift & Schedule:
- Combination of 8 & 12-hour shifts
- Evenings: 11:00 AM 7:30 PM
- No block scheduling (schedule based on unit needs)
- 1 weekend per 4 weeks
- No holiday requirement
Summary: Seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurse with strong circulating and scrubbing skills. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform both scrub and circulate duties (required)
- Provide perioperative nursing care and ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
- Maintain sterile environment and adhere to OR protocols
- Document care and assist with pre/post-operative processes
Requirements:
- Active DE RN License or Compact License (in hand)
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience (no exceptions)
- Previous travel experience required
- Must be able to scrub & circulate
- Provide all compliance details at submission (RTO, certs, etc.)
Additional Details:
- Call: 1 shift per 4 weeks (11:00 PM 7:00 AM) 1 2 PRN shifts
- Floating required within acuity
- Max 3 days RTO allowed
