RN Clinical Supervisor | General & Vascular Surgery
Location: La Crosse, WI
FTE: Full-time, salaried position (1.0)
Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday clinic hours (7:30/8:00 AM - 4:00/4:30 PM) with flexibility. Includes occasional early morning leadership meetings.
Lead a high-acuity surgical clinic team and shape the future of procedural care delivery.
Position Overview
As the RN Clinical Supervisor for General & Vascular Surgery, you will lead a team of approximately 16 Registered Nurses and Medical Assistants in a fast-paced, procedure-driven outpatient environment.
This role is central to ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care while optimizing clinic operations that support a high volume of surgical and procedural services. You'll play a key role in staffing, workflow planning, and daily operational oversight in a setting where precision, adaptability, and strong communication are essential.

What You'll Do
Lead, coach, and develop a team of RNs and Medical Assistants in a high-volume surgical clinic
Oversee daily clinic operations, including staffing, scheduling, and efficient patient flow for procedural services
Anticipate and plan for procedural volumes, ensuring appropriate staffing and resource allocation
Partner with providers and leadership to enhance workflows, patient access, and procedural care delivery
Balance leadership responsibilities with limited clinical involvement
Influence program growth and operational improvements, including upcoming procedural expansions

What You'll Bring
Active RN license (or eligibility) in the state of Wisconsin
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers CPR
Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 3-4 years of RN experience
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven ability to lead or influence teams in fast-paced clinical environments
Prior leadership or charge RN/team lead experience strongly preferred
Experience in procedural care settings (e.g., OR, GI, surgical clinic, or similar) strongly preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead effectively in high-pressure situations
Driven, growth-oriented mindset with interest in advancing a leadership career
Comfortable navigating change, balancing competing priorities, and leading through ambiguity
