Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical (Med Surg Telemetry)
Location: 302 University Pkwy, Aiken, SC 29801
Duration: 13 Weeks (High Possibility of Extension)
Shift: Nights – 3 x 12-Hour Shifts (36 Hours/Week)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with physician orders
Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Ensure accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
Maintain a safe therapeutic environment, including de-escalation when necessary
Required Qualification:
Minimum 2 years of inpatient nursing experience
Med Surg Telemetry experience required
Telemetry experience required
Minimum 6 months of Travel Nurse experience required
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved Registered Nurse program
Current active RN license in state/district of practice
Cerner EMR experience required
Current Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
CPI – Crisis Prevention Institute (NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Highly Desired
