Job Description
Immediate Registered Nurse (RN) contract/travel opportunity with our Hospital-Psych facility in Las Vegas, NM.Pay Rate:
- $2,604/week (travel pay package if qualified)
- $60.00/hr (local candidate pay rate)
Available Work Schedule:
- 1:00pm - 11:00pm (Evenings)
- 4x10 shifts per week
- 40 hours guaranteed
Contract Term: 13 weeks to start (extension likely)
Job Details
- Provides nursing care to the residents on the nursing unit within the framework of the medical and nursing care plan, the policies of the Department and, under the supervision of a professional nurse.
- Monitors the residents closely to identify response to treatments, medication and/or changes in health status.
- Provides treatments to the residents according to the medical and nursing care plan and consistent with the policies of the Department.
- Prepares and dispenses medication to the residents according to the medical plan of care and consistent with the policies of the Department.
- Directly assists with the resident's activities of daily living, including direct care, observation of status and changes and supervision of non-professional staff.
Qualifications
- Valid RN License
- One year of healthcare experience working in a psychiatric care setting required
