Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Behavioral HealthOverview: Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for an immediate 24-week contract at a behavioral health facility in Weston, WV. This vital role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. Join our team and contribute to improving mental health outcomes while advancing your professional journey.Pay Package:$45 per hourRequired Skills:
  • Valid state or multistate RN license*
  • Minimum of 1+ year of recent RN experience within the last 2 years*
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association*
  • Ability to administer medications and treatments accurately*
  • Competency in participating in care planning and communicating with physicians*
  • Proficiency in documenting assessments and care in compliance with standards and regulations*
  • Strong patient and family education skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • While specific educational qualifications are not listed, typically an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred*
  • Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric settings is advantageous but not required
Other Requirements:
  • Availability for 8-hour rotating shifts, with flexibility for 20 hours of overtime*
  • Must be available to start in December*
  • No additional licensing or certification requirements beyond those specified
