ABOUT TRINITY HEALTH OAKLAND HOSPITAL

Trinity Oakland Hospital is a 497-bed community teaching hospital, level II trauma center and longtime leader in health care in Oakland County. We provide comprehensive care including cardiovascular, stroke, orthopedics, obstetrics, gynecology and cancer care. The hospital has been a leading provider of the most advanced medical care for more than 90 years. 6 South is a 35-bed medical stepdown unit that cares for patients who have a multitude of medical/neurological diagnoses, some who require telemetry monitoring. We also offer virtual nursing and camera monitoring on this unit.

6 South is an excellent unit to start your Nursing Career and prepare you for your future path/specialty area.

12 hour shifts, rotating holidays & weekends

REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSURE

  • Requires current Michigan Nursing License- Graduate Nurses invited to apply.

  • Graduation from accredited nursing program

  • BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years

  • BLS Certification Required
