RN /Registered Nurse 2 Post Lung Transplant

UW Medical Center- Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Post Lung Transplant Registered Nurse to join our Transplant Services team.The focuses on the duties related to the post-transplantation phase and will include procurement call. Management for the designated transplant patient population includes independent patient assessment, triage, education, coordination of medical and nursing care, and documentation of care. Integral to the role is an understanding of the regulations and data requirements surrounding transplant care issued from the United Network of Organ Sharing and HRSA.JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsible for the nursing care and coordination of the post lung transplant long-term patients, plus the surgical (non-transplant) patient education and surgical prep, as well as multiple clinical procedures on a daily basis.Nursing Process – Systematically assesses the need for and the delivery of nursing services that meet patient care requirements, whether delivered directly or by the other nursing staff.SCHEDULEFull TimeDay shiftEight or Ten Hour ShiftsREQUIREMENTSTwo years of professional nursing experience, including clinical nursing expertise in post lung transplant patient care. Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$45.59 hourly

Pay Range Maximum:

$83.64 hourly

Other Compensation:

$1.25/hr Nursing Certification $5.00/hr night shift $4.00/hr weekend shift $3.00/hr evening shift $1.00/hr BSN premium
