What Youll Do

Deliver safe, high-quality care utilizing the nursing process in the operating room.
Assess patient needs pre- and post-surgery and implement appropriate teaching strategies.
Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure smooth procedures.
Delegate tasks appropriately and manage nursing resources efficiently.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
Demonstrate professionalism and accountability in all aspects of patient care.
Support unit and departmental goals through continuous improvement initiatives.

What You NeedRequired:

Valid RN license in Louisiana
BLS and ACLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of perioperative or operating room nursing experience
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

Experience supervising or managing teams
Additional specialty certifications related to perioperative nursing
Excellent delegation skills and cultural sensitivity
