What You'll Do
  • Provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process within the scope of practice
  • Assess patient needs and plan individualized care and education
  • Delegate tasks effectively to licensed and ancillary team members
  • Document and communicate patient information accurately
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
  • Adhere to healthcare regulations, standards, and safety protocols
  • Respond to emergency situations with appropriate procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional responsibilities
What You NeedRequired:
  • Active Louisiana RN license
  • BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • CPI certification
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hospital setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and healthcare software
Preferred:
  • Certifications in clinical specialty areas
  • Experience in a medical/surgical unit
