What You’ll Do
  • Provide high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting.
  • Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement appropriate treatments.
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
  • Delegate tasks to licensed and ancillary team members while maintaining accountability.
  • Embrace a culturally sensitive approach, respecting diversity in all interactions.
  • Document patient care and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and enhance patient satisfaction.
What You NeedRequired:
  • Valid RN license in Louisiana
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical RN experience
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Proficiency in computer applications and data entry
  • Strong communication, organizational, and judgment skills
Preferred:
  • Certification in a clinical specialty area
  • Additional relevant training or certifications
