• Active RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on ICU settings
• Proven proficiency in EPIC documentation systems
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification – 12-month blue card from the Crisis Prevention Institute
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment
• Ability to adapt behavior and communication to diverse patient populations
• Proficiency in computer, software, and web-based applications

Nice to Have Skills:

• Certification in a clinical specialty area
• Experience with electronic health record systems beyond EPIC
• Additional certifications related to critical care

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• At least 2 years of direct ICU experience, particularly with complex patient cases

Other Requirements:

• Physical ability to perform heavy work and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds as needed
• Ability to work in environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially communicable diseases
• Willingness to work around hazardous materials and waste in healthcare settings
• Flexibility to work across the 12:00 AM - 12:00 AM shift schedule as needed
• Valid certifications and licensure must be maintained and up-to-date
