Pay Rate: $54.31 per hour

What Youll Do

Assess, plan, and deliver quality patient care in the PACU setting following best practices and facility protocols
Monitor patient recovery, vital signs, and responses to anesthesia
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe patient transitions from anesthesia to recovery
Use evidence-based procedures to manage pain, nausea, and other post-anesthesia symptoms
Document patient care activities accurately and promptly
Educate patients and families on post-op care and recovery expectations
Maintain compliance with all hospital, state, and federal regulations regarding patient safety and documentation

What You Need

Current Louisiana RN license
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
CPI certification from the Crisis Prevention Institute
Minimum 2+ years of PACU or perioperative nursing experience
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical environments
